Kentsel dönüşüm / Urban transformation

If an existing building or even an entire area does not live up to current rules and safety regulations these buildings or area should be demolished and rebuild. For this the government offers a lot of support such as tax deductions for the new construction, rent payments for those whose homes are being rebuild and much more.

This process is called "kentsel dönüşüm" in Turkish and is becoming increasingly popular all over the country.
