When investing in a property in Turkey, you will also need a Turkish tax number.
For this, you or your representative needs to visit the local tax office.

Besides getting the tax number, foreigners without resident permits typically have no other business with the local tax office.

Should you have to go anyway, then be prepared for some waiting time. Making any pre-arranged appointments is impossible, so you will have to go, pick a number and wait in line.
